The LRT is a place where i get to see a diverse group of people. I use it on a daily basis. It is rather convenient.
Out of all the diverse people i see on the LRT, the most mind flushing type of people are the ladies with belly fat and the pregnant. I know that there is a difference between pregnant ladies and belly fat ladies but then at times the line between the two is quite blur. I am not making fun of this because it is actually true. There is an article on this in BBC News website.
I am often in a dilemma whether to offer that person a seat because she may not be pregnant but just big. So by offering her a seat, i would not like to offend her you see. That is when i freeze in time and start to go in deep thoughts. I do not want to be a bad person by not offering the pregnant lady a seat, and at the same time i would not like to offend her if she happen to be just having excessive belly fat.
Its just hard laa. It is very stressful at times as well.
I even went online to actually check whether such a situation exist and boy was i glad that there was an article by BBC News regarding it. It proved that i am not the only one with such a problem. That article is in more detail about this situation that people experience on commuters.

Outcomes :
1) Offer the lady a place and get her blessings if she is pregnant.
2) Offer the lady a place, and if she does not happen to be pregnant , she may or may not be offended.
3) Stand, so you won’t have to encounter this type of situation.
Peace!
